Let's look at the Spanish words for family. Seems appropriate since that is who most of us are surrounded by. On this page you will watch a video about Spanish family words. You can then play some online games to practice family words. If the rest of your familia needs the computer there are alos some activity ideas you can do off-line.

COUNTRY OF THE WEEK: READ THE CLUES TO GUESS WHICH SPANISH SPEAKING COUNTRY IS THE COUNTRY OF THE WEEK.
1. This is the largest Spanish speaking country in South America.
2. The capital of this country is Buenos Aires.
3. This country has borders with Chile, Brazil, Paraguay, Urugauay, and Bolivia.
4. The dance the tango comes from this country.
5. Soccer player Lionel Messi is from this country.
Optional Fun Activity:

I have so thought of so many ideas for a fun family activity you can do at home. My favorite idea is taking a family portrait of everyone dressed in a crazy outfit. You can give each family member a big piece of paper with the Spanish word for their role in the family, or you could label the pic in Spanish after you are done.
​
If that idea doesn't appeal to you, you could make a family of your stuffed animals, action figures, or any other household items. Take a pic then label it in Spanish.

You could also make a family tree or family album.

The more deatailed, crazy, fun, and creative the better!
